Embarcadero
The Embarcadero is Legazpi’s newest lifestyle hub, commercial and entertainment center offering retail shops, restaurants and cafes, bars, arcade, bowling alleys, promenade, Celebration Plaza and a lighthouse. Although more than half of the entire complex is still under construction, the Embarcadero has already made its mark in the Legazpi cityscape as a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
As of February 2010, the Embarcadero is home to several locators, a mix of local and national brand names, such as Bigg’s Diner (Bicol’s homegrown fastfood chain), La Mia Tazza (a Legazpi-based chain of coffee shops), Gerry’s Grill, Padi’s Point, Mang Inasal, Tapa King, Kitaro, Harbor Wok Restaurant, Plains and Prints, Mango, Cinderella, Mercury Drug, and SLTCFI BPO Incubation Center. More tenants are expected to set up shop soon. The Embarcadero is also a jump-off point to Misibis Bay Raintree, a luxury resort hotel in nearby Cagraray Island.

The Embarcadero has also pioneered eco-friendly transportation in the Bicol Region by introducing Electric Jeepneys or e-Jeeps. These e-Jeeps carry visitors to and from Embarcadero free of charge. There are currently four e-Jeeps in operation, with plans to add more in the future. With the e-Jeeps roaming around the city, it is very easy to get to Embarcadero from the Legazpi Port District.
The lifestyle hub and IT Park is part of a master-planned development that will cover almost 200 hectares in the city’s southern barangays stretching from the shapely Kapuntukan Hill. A new coastal road called Legazpi Boulevard is currently under construction, extending from the foot of the hill to Brgy. Lamba.

wow!!! i must work hard to earn big money for our next visit there …good job!!!!siramon!!
Nice! but there’s a lot to work with…Hopefully sana madagdagan ang stalls…I mean kulang kasi ng mga pwedeng bilhan ng RTW’s. just like when you’re going to shopping… dapat madami ka rin pwede pamilian…Saka I heard medyo may kamahalan kapag namili ka sa Embarcadero… and not supposed to be because how can you compete with LCC and Pacific Mall kung same thing lang naman ang makikita mo then mas mataas pa ang presyo.
Hopefully sana magbukas ang Yellow Cab and Starbucks just like what we have seen on the Perspective!
Honestly, I’ve known a lot kung bakit may Embarcadero tayo..its a Good work of Mayor Rosal..and i think tama yung ginawa nya..(but not to others, because may problema kapag nalaman ng publiko)..to promote the tourism aspect in legazpi..to generate jobs for Legazpenos.
ang ganda tlga ng embarcadero.. =)

i think po…kelangan po ung maramihang pagbubukas ng mga boutiques…kasi po kung konti lang ung bumukas na boutique, magsasawa dun ang tao at lalo silang mabobore…kaya magiging negative impression ng tao…

[...] Albay is abundant in amazing geological formations, with its landscape dominated by the sensuously symmetrical Mayon Volcano. But Mayon isn’t the only star in Albay’s constellation of geological wonders. There’s also the lush and forested Mt. Malinao and the mystical Mt. Masaraga. In Legazpi, we can find the famed Ligñon Hill, an extinct cinder cone that is now the site of a park and view deck, and the peculiarly-shaped Kapuntukan, fondly called Sleeping Lion, standing right beside the port and the new Embarcadero.
