The first ultra marathon in the Bicol Region, Mayon 360 will be one of the highlights of the Magayon Festival 2011. It will take runners around the base circumference of Mayon Volcano.

Mayon Trail Run, the most grueling 21K adventure run in the Philippines, returns for the third straight year this October 24, 2010 in Legazpi City. No other running event in the country crosses three mountains, goes through a WW2-era tunnel, crosses a river, climbs up 70-degree slopes, and five-storey high lava walls.
A National Skimboarding Competition is set to take place in the jet-black volcanic sand beaches of Arimbay, Legazpi City on April 26 to 28, 2010. Skimboarding is a boardsport wherein a skimboard (a smaller, sleeker version of a surfboard) is used to ride on an incoming wave.
