Bicol’s best and most colorful festival converge in Albay today, April 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM for the Gayon Bicol Festival Showdown sa Magayon. The parade will commence at the Peñaranda Park in the Old Albay District.
Competing contingents include Tig-aw Festival of Tigaon, Camarines Sur; Sosogon Festival of Sorsogon City; Sunflower Festival of Ligao City; Pinyasan Festival of Daet; Cimarrones Festival of Pili, Camarines Sur; Ibalong Festival of Legazpi City, and Unod Festival of Castilla, Sorsogon. They will compete for several awards: Best in Costume, Best in Moving Choreography, Third Prize, Second Prize and Champion.
Special guests include Cagayan Rep. Juan Ponce ‘Jack’ Enrile Jr., Hon. Juan Miguel ‘Migz’ Zubiri, Tourism Sec. Ramon Jimenez Jr., Rep. Risa Hontiveros-Baraquiel, DOT V Director Maria Ong-Ravanilla

the event was really awesome but the problem is the audience dont have a steady place where they can see the event properly.. laging pinapaalis sa lugar.Dapat there should be a proper placewhere they could stay and watch.
