New Adventures at Embarcadero de Legazpi

The Embarcadero de Legazpi, Bicol’s premier waterfront lifestyle and commercial hub is now gearing up to become a favorite destination for adventure seekers as it offers exciting new attractions such as go karting, zipline, jetski, Segway PT and many more coming soon!

Opening this month, the Embarcadero Playland Go Kart now provides thrilling go kart rides around a track right beside Building 9 at the foot of the alluring Kapuntukan Hill.

Kart racing is a kind of open-wheel motorsport that uses small, four-wheeled, open vehicles called “karts” or “go karts.” Embarcadero also offers Segway PT rides, the first in the country. The Segway PT is a two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicle that is incredibly fun to ride!

Taking advantage of its unique seafront location, the Embarcadero will also soon offer a variety of watersports including parasailing, Jet Ski, paddle boat, and water jeep. The 350-meter zipline will also open on December 2010. The 350-meter zipline starts from the 30-meter tall lighthouse all the way to the breakwater across the Legazpi port basin. There are also plans to offer helicopter rides for those who would like to experience Legazpi from a different perspective.

Go Kart — P150 for two laps inclusive of gears. Fast-racing adult go-karts for advanced users can be rented for P500 for 10 laps
Segway PT — 15-minute rental is P200 inclusive of gears
Jet ski — To be announced
Zipline — To be announced

Climbing Up to Mayon’s Base Camp

Climbing up to the level close to the summit or an area commonly referred to as the knife’s edge is for the intermediate-expert climber or for one who is very fit. It normally takes two days and one night to reach the summit and it is essential that one have a competent and knowledgeable local guide.
