Waway’s is one of Legazpi’s venerable and beloved restaurants. Established in 1967, Waway’s was named after the owner Laura Cristobal. Today, Waway’s remains a family business that continue to serve authentic Bicolano dishes. In fact, the restaurant has become a household name and a landmark when it comes to the Legazpi food scene; it is often recommended as a must-try for visitors because of its Bicol comfort food specially Bicol Express, Pinangat, Laing and more.

  2. I’ve been visiting this restaurant in the internet. Surely, I’ gonna sample their yummy foods when I visit the city in the near future.
    Our Bikol cuisines are haunting me especially the kinunot, pinangat, tilmok and tinutungan. I miss the binutong, the sinapot, pinakroand the balisungsong, too. Make me drollllll.
